Behind a long forgotten doorway
Lies the answer to our questions
Fast asleep in peaceful slumber
Waiting for our call to waken.
Through a maze of misdirection
Empty dreams we blindly follow
Until we see the lost connections
And hear their promises ringing hollow
For rest we must and soon we will
Our weary hearts must come to rest
Then slowly and then slower still
We see the light beyond the crest
